Position Summary
This position is responsible for selling the company's products/services to, and developing, maintaining and expanding relationships with existing named accounts in connection with direct sales to end-users.
Primary Responsibilities
- Promotes and sells products and services to current customers.
- Looks for new business opportunities with current customers.
- Requires a significant amount of face-to-face customer interaction along with outbound telephone calls.
- Builds and maintains relationships with clients.
- Demonstrates product knowledge and capabilities to customers through presentations and/or demonstrations. Explains how the product can meet the customers' needs.
- Communicates pricing, puts together proposals, negotiates the terms and conditions of the sale, and closes the final sale.
- Informs customers of supply, price, and new product and/or service lines.
- Researches and resolves customer problems.
- Listens to the voice of the customer and provides input to Product Managers regarding new product ideas and ideas for enhancements.
- Recommends modifications to the product/service line.
- Keeps current with product and industry knowledge.
- Mentors Customer Development Executives.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Performs other duties as requested by management

Works with sales and production teams, billing and customers
Leadership/Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not supervise anyone
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, or business field with at least two to three years' business-to-business direct consultative selling experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum two to three years' automotive industry knowledge.
- Exceptional Chinese and English written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Experience using a database or software application.
- Excellent communication, customer service and presentation skills.
- Experience using the Internet.
- Ability to anticipate and handle difficult customer situations.
- Good knowledge using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong negotiation skills.
Other Requirements
- Frequent travel to customer sites, trade shows, and other Polk locations.
