Beijing Polk-Catarc is a Joint Venture between R. L. Polk & Co. and the Chinese Automotive Technology and Research Centre (CATARC). The venture collects and interprets data, and provides extensive automotive business expertise to assist its customers with their most important market issues.

2002



Beijing Polk-Catarc commences trading on January 1st, 2002.



2004

Beijing Polk-Catarc moves to its new office location in East Three Ring, Beijing. In the same year, Beijing Polk-Catarc launched CarMaster, which is a web-based vehicle price and specification information system.



2005



After months of planning and development, PolkInsight China is launched with Chinese registration data. PolkInsight enables users at all levels of an organization to analyze and interpret a wide variety of Polk Automotive Intelligence.
